A New Landscape That Places People Before Politics..

We know you have questions.
Come on out and ask your questions.
You have nothing to lose, but apathy.

“Public Service, Public Trust”

"Glenn Coley, Derrick Boone and I had an awesome opportunity to meet with Englewood Mayor Emeritus Michael Wildes. I am thankful for his support and advice as I campaign to become Englewood’s next Mayor. Mayor Wildes’ slogan of “Public Service, Public Trust” remains true today as it did for the City of Englewood during his dynamic leadership."

What is wrong with this picture?

...This bus no longer has access to the curb or the bus shelter. Riders must hold tightly to their children as they embark and disembark into and from this bus. That new extension of the sidewalk into the street has taken access to the bus shelter away from the bus and forced riders to walk at least 10 to 12 feet into the street to get on or off the bus. Traffic following the bus must now wait for passengers and bus to finish their business before proceeding. What happens if one is traveling with small children?

Our City designers really must do better. And they called this a West Palisade Avenue improvement. I call it an insult and a slap in the face to everyone who uses Public Transit. Goodbye bus, hello light rail! I wonder.
