Englewood has a new police chief. Lawrence Suffern was born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey. He served as Deputy Chief for 4 years and was unanimously voted in as Police Chief at last night's Englewood City Council Meeting. He is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick. Chief Suffern has served on the Englewood Police Force for 25 years.
